End of Season Club Social & BBQ
Friday, June 16th
at Mission Point House, Davis Bay
​5pm-10pm

Mission Point House is close to the south end of the Davis Bay walkway and is right on the beach, has a lawn, and a full kitchen. BBQs will be available for your items and everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share. Plates, cutlery, and glasses are available but you should bring anything else you need. Unless you have mobility issues, or need to drive to the MPHouse to drop off items, parking is only available along Davis Bay, Brookman Park, or any of the side streets at the south end of Davis Bay (a few minutes' walk). Please also note that this year marks the 30th Anniversary of the cabins and trails! We will be announcing a few celebrations planned for September/October and acknowledging some volunteers. Friends and family are welcome! 

Batchelor Cabin Work Party June 17-18

Gerry & Ellen Marcotte are newly minted as the cabin stewards for Batchelor Cabin and are looking for volunteers to come out and help the TOC with a work bee on Saturday June 17 and Sunday June 18. We will be painting the cabin exterior, completing the skirting, excavating accumulated soil & debris below the cabin, general cleanup and more if time & volunteers permit. Feel free to come for a day or spend the night. We have all the work tools and materials, just bring your personal gear and food/beverages. We will provide a supper for Saturday night so please do let us know if you would like to join us. We were there last week and can affirm that hiking boots and gaiters are most suitable for the hike in, the snow is disappearing and the gate to the upper parking lot is open!
